Reference
The Reference section collects what applies to the StrikeUp admin app as a whole rather than to one screen: who in your company may change what, which language the app and the widget use, what you can see and delete, where AI costs are shown, where to get help, and what to do when the app itself misbehaves in your browser. Use it when your question starts with “in general” or “anywhere in the app”.
Everything about a single screen or feature lives on that screen’s or feature’s own guide, with its own questions and troubleshooting table. When a question here touches one, the answer gives the rule in short and links to the guide that covers it in full.

Concepts to know
Section titled “Concepts to know”Your company and your account
Section titled “Your company and your account”Signing up creates a company: the workspace in which your toolkits, widgets, customers and settings live. Each person signs in with their own account, identified by an email address. An email address can belong to one StrikeUp account only, so one person cannot be a member of two companies with the same address. Teammates join by invitation from SettingsUsers.
| Role | What it can do |
|---|---|
| Admin | Change every setting, invite and manage users, require two-factor authentication for the company |
| User | Open and read every screen; change their own password and two-factor authentication; run tests that change nothing |
| Guest | The same as User |
What your browser keeps
Section titled “What your browser keeps”Some things are stored in the browser you use, not on your account: your signed-in session, the colour theme from SettingsDark Mode, and the date range of the Dashboard pages. On another computer or browser, or after you clear this browser’s site data, you sign in again and these choices start from their defaults. The language is not stored at all: it follows the browser every time the app loads.
Features switched on for your workspace
Section titled “Features switched on for your workspace”Most screens are available to every company. AI Gateway, Knowledge Base and Integrations appear only when their feature is on for your workspace; AI Gateway is switched on by StrikeUp. When a feature is off, its menu item is missing and opening its address takes you to the Dashboard.
Availability
Section titled “Availability”Every signed-in user can read every page of this section and every screen it refers to, whatever their role. Changes anywhere in the admin app need the Admin role; your own password and two-factor authentication are the exception.
