Tell your assistant what is off-limits, and check it before your customers do

An assistant that answers everything also answers the questions it should refuse. Guardrails decide which customer messages reach the AI at all. Now StrikeUp writes the first version of that policy for you, lets you try it on any message, and lets you choose the words a blocked customer sees.

  • A policy drafted for your business. Enter your website address and StrikeUp writes a company policy from it, your company name and your active toolkits, so the check knows which topics belong to you from day one.
  • Test before your customers do. Type any message into the test box and see the verdict, the reason and each violation. Tests are never recorded as violations.
  • Your words when a message is blocked. Write one reply in your own voice, up to 1,000 characters, or keep the platform default.
  • Start over cleanly. Clear your company policy in one step; the platform’s own safety rules keep working.

Purpose
hero of the guardrails release note: a blocked test message

A blocked attack is only useful if a real question still gets through. Testing both kinds of message before go-live shows you where your policy is too strict or too loose, and a friendly rejection message keeps a customer who asked the wrong thing from feeling shut out.

  1. Open SecurityGuardrails, enter your address in the Domain-aware Guardrails card and save it.
  2. Select Regenerate from website and confirm. The new policy is live as soon as the success message appears; edit it and save again if you want to change it.
  3. Send an everyday question and an attack through Test Guardrails, then write your reply under Blocked Message Response.

The details are in Generate a policy from your website.

For every workspace. Saving the policy, the reply and the website address, and generating a policy, need the Admin role; every member can run tests. Generating needs at least one active toolkit. StrikeUp does not open or read your website: the address only tells the AI which business it writes for. A generated policy replaces your current text straight away, so copy it first if you may want it back.
